Porkchop loved to get flowers!

Above is Porkchop, our first pig and by far the greatest. We adopted him in 1992 and he passed away October 30th, 2000 at the age of seven years. He was a 'good pig' and we'll never forget him.
After adopting PC, we got Choncho, a cute black & white Dutch female. PC and Choncho then got together and procreated four adorable cotton puffs named Kiwi, Peanut, Oreo, and Frito in 1992.
Oreo & Frito, both black & white dutch females just like their Mom, went to our hairdresser. She is now a guinea pig lover herself and eventually bred guinea piglets of her own.
Peanut, a brown and white male, was elected to a kindergarten classroom as the new class mascot. Kids brought him veggies everyday and took turns sitting him on the weekends. He got loads of attention and became big and pudgy!
We held on to Kiwi. He was my personal favorite and so sweet and soft. Unfortunatly, an unexpected rainstorm came when he was outside and we were out for the day. He became sick and passed away.
Then came Smores, a wire haired, black male with a white spot on the top of his head. He loved to sit on my bed and help me with my homework. We only had him a few weeks before he passed on. He choked on something he picked up outside.
Next was Smokedog. He was a cute, shiny, tri-color male - so young and lively. Nothing could keep him still! He too met with a choking accident.
Our sweet piglet Biscuit passed away March 2002, the weekend of my wedding. Adopted April 8, 1999 - she and porkchop were the best of friends until we adopted a few more.
Salsa passed away in the fall of 2003. She was adopted June 24, 2000 from a local animal shelter, and was probably the sweetest pig we've cared for, next to Porkchop. I'm sure our two remaining girls miss her company.
In the Summer of 2004, Snickers passed away. Adopted September 11, 1999 as a baby from a local pet store, she was skiddish, but became more trusting over time. She was petite and sweet.
Tator Tot passed away over winter 2004. Also adopted September 11, 1999, she was our last pig. Quite the eater when she was young and as jumpy as catfish on springs!
They loved to eat! We fed them a huge variety of vegetables and fruits, and they gave us extra love in exchange. They loved to spend time with us, just sitting around and observing human behavior. We kept them in a baby wading pool as a cage and they loved it! They could peak over the top to see what's going on and beg for food. They never got out. Once Porkchop fell out, excited that food was coming his way, and he didn't know what to do with himself!
