Porkchop ~ Spring 1999

Porkchop and his honey, Choncho.

Alas, nothing could keep Porkchop away from his honey. They were like peas in a pod.

A very pregnant Choncho in April of 1996. Yes, she is the same sow in the picture above. Hard to believe. She was at least twice as big! She had four adorable babies, though, in early May.

Kiwi, Peanut, Oreo & Frito

Within a week after these four were born, Choncho passed away. So...we had to teach them to drink from a bottle. Here they are in line for grub. (May 1996)

Once the little guys were weaned, they could start eating grown-up food! Aren't they cute!

Bath time for piggies! ~ June 1996

Time to dry off! When outside, we put our piggies in a pen built by my Dad. On some instances, we've had cats and even hawks looking at our pigs as dinner, so we had to add a lid to keep them out!
